Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Yubup Primary School.

Our School’s Designated Neighbourhood

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places. Due to pressure for enrolment and anticipated growth, only families within our school’s designated neighbourhood or those who have a current sibling will be offered an immediate place at Yubup PS. Out of zone families are still welcome to submit an expression of interest.

School Tours 

Prospective families are welcome to contact our office staff via phone or email to book in a school tour, which we run on Tuesday's at 11am, Tuesday's 4pm & Friday's at 9am. 

Enrolling Foundation Students 

Enrolment commences in the year prior to children starting school. Children enrolling in Victorian schools must turn 5 years old by 30th April in the year of entry.

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government primary school.

You can apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) in 2027 from Monday 20 April 2026.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school office on 9967 2500 to book an optional school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process
2. Collect a Foundation (Prep) enrolment pack from our school (available from Monday 20 April 2026). This pack includes guidance on the application process.
3. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 31 July 2026.
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 3 August and Friday 14 August 2026.
5. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should accept the offer by Friday 28 August 2026.
6. Take part in school transition sessions during Term 4, 2026.
7. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 28 January 2027.

Enrolment applications submitted after 31 July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Enrolment Policy.

Enrolling International Students 

Yubup Primary School welcomes international students who hold the appropriate visa to apply for enrolment.
